lyrics
Where you go I want to be
A hole inside your head
And I know that if you’d talk to me
There’d be another chance
I promise I can make a silent fall
I promise I can make the silence fall
Where you go I want to be
A hole inside your head
And I know that if you’d talk to me
There’d be another chance
I promise I can make a silent fall
I promise I can make the silence fall
I saw you come, and I saw you go
And now it’s time for me
I saw you go, and I said no
And now it’s time for me
I saw you come, and I saw you go
And now it’s time for me (for me)
Where you go I want to be
A hole inside your head
And I know that if you’d talk to me
There’d be another chance
I promise I can make a silent fall
I promise I can make the silence fall
I saw you come, and I saw you go
And now it’s time for me
I saw you go, and I said no
And now it’s time for me
I saw you come, and I saw you go
And now it’s time for me (for me)
I don’t need you
I don’t believe in you
I’ve come to war
I’ve come undone for you
As far as indie albums in the 2010's and beyond go, this is one of the most cohesive and emotive albums I've experienced looking back on it and is Jay Som's best album tokyonoir
It's been like several re-listens and binges of this album since 2020 that I can still come back to and proudly say that this was an album I will personally call one of my favorites of all time.
Wonderfully crafted & ambitious dream pop wearing its 60s influence on its sleeve with sheer delight, Wake UP! has been an album that I have no shame in saying it saved my life. No other album I can say I love can say that did it for me, capturing both the anxieties and joys of life, in spite of it. christiancruz8184
